Galileo® in Vancouver 2

18.02.2010

Day 4 - The well-appointed Energy Center in Vancouver opened its doors on Sunday for athletes and coaches. Since that time athletes have the opportunity to regenerate with Galileo Training after the competitions and training sessions. In addition to the products from PowerBar there is a cozy sitting area with WiFi and Wii as well as various sports channels, so that the olympic spirit is always close.

On Monday we had the complete German ice hockey team as a guest. Approx. 30 players completed the Energy Center with life and energy. As an interesting conversation partner Dennis Seidenberg (Defender of the Florida Panthers NHL) told of his experiences with Galileo at the Olympic Training Center in Heidelberg, when he played for the Mannheim Adler. In the U.S., where he played for the Phoenix Coyotes in the NHL (National Hockey League) he also had good experiences with Galileo.

After a training session in the morning and before a short unit on the ergometer we hosted three athletes of the Dutch Short Track Team. Annita van Doorn (500 m, 1000 m) used her stay at the Energy Center to regenerate on Galileo.

In the next few days, we look forward to many more guests.
Let's see when the first medalist will stop by.

To be continued,
Christian Baur.
