Galileo® in neuronal diseases
Galileo Trainingis successfully used in treating Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Incomplete Paraplegia and stroke patients. Depending on the indication therapeutic results can be achieved using different frequencies. In particular, the wobble function of the new generation of Galileo devices are specifically designed for this indication.
The sinusoidal, repetitive motion of Galileo, results in motor and neural learning effects. The side alternating vibration simulates a physiologically meaningful movement pattern similar to human gait, which makes it possible to effectively train the back muscles.
The Galileo provides a mechanical stimulus and triggers a reflex reaction in the body. Galileo Training is, therefore, involuntarily controlled. A Galileo workout is ideally suited to quickly and effectively improve existing residual functions and specific movement patterns.
