Galileo® in neuronal diseases
Galileo Training is successfully used in treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, Incomplete Paraplegia (Spinal Cord Injury, SCI), muscle Dystrophy, stroke patients and chronic pain like Fibromyalgia.
Depending on the indication therapeutic results can be achieved using different frequencies. Different frequency ranges allow training of balance, coordination, muscle function, muscle power or reduction of spacticity or contractures, In particular, the wobble function of the new generation of Galileo devices are specifically designed for this indication.
Reproducible and safe
The sinusoidal, repetitive movement of Galileo, results in motor and neuronal learning effects. The side alternating vibration simulates a physiologically meaningful movement pattern similar to human gait. This physiological movement pattern enables effective trainining of the trunk stabilizing muscles.
Reflectory training with advantages
Galileo generates a mechanical stimulus and triggers reflex reactions of the stimulated muscles. Galileo Training is, therefore, involuntarily activating muscles. A Galileo workout is ideally suited to quickly and effectively improve existing residual functions and specific movement patterns.
