Galileo® in Vancouver

03.02.2010

As already at 2008 in Beijing, Galileo Training is guest at PowerBar, one of the leading manufacturers of sports nutrition during the Olympic Winter Games, from 12 to 28 February held in Vancouver. The PowerBar Energy Center serves as a meeting place for athletes, trainers and coaches as well as media and sponsors. For athletes and others interested there is the opportunity to thoroughly test Galileo Training: classical with a freely adjustable frequency between 5 to 30 Hz and in the new wobble mode!

This new training mode challenges and trains the neural system by random changes in frequency to which the muscles must respond. Especially in intensive forms of training, this additional challenge can cause further changes in neuronal excitability, which can not be achieved by a conventional workout. In addition, the random frequency variation in the low frequency range supports rapid regeneration after intense exercise. These new function are of special interest for high-performance sports.

From 12 to 28 February we will speak with the athletes about the various forms of training in the Energy Center in Vancouver and are in direct exchange with them.

Look forward during this exciting time with us to many interesting reports.
