Exercise of the week (W29) Strengthening of muscles to straighten the body (Ex 61)



  • Body stabilisation

Posture/foot position

  • Basic position
  • Bend upper part of the body in the vertical position to the front (45°)
  • Arms hang down, knees slightly bent

Movement execution

  • Bend elbows until the hands are at shoulder height
  • Slowly straighten upper part of the body 
  • Move arms towards the ceiling 
  • No movement in the legs 
  • Return slowly in a controlled manner to the starting position

Common errors

  • Knees bent too much
