Graphic Views
Main Window
The main application window of the Leonardo Mechanography software allows access to patient and measurement data and to start measurements. The left half of teh window shows the patient dataset. The right half shows the corresponding measurements including all analysis results as a quick overview. In addition a graphic preview of the selected measurement can be displayed below the list.
Analysis Window
Depending on the selected measurement type Leonardo Mechanography allows different graphic visualizations of the measurement results. The standard visualization is displayed in the analysis window. The top half of the window shows the relevant analysis parameters over time (e.g. force, velocity, power, energy, and others). The lower half shows the most relevant analysis parameters and their correlation with the built-in reference data (e.g. E.F.I., Force Efficiency).
The analysis winow includes three different views:
Graph: Standard View
The standard view shows the plots of the measurement parameters most relevant for the selected measurement type. In this view force is displayed as total force (sum of the forces of left and right leg).
Graph: L/R View
In the L/R view forces of the left and the right leg are displayed seperately. This view allows a fast overview over asymmetries during the tested movement.
Graph: Detail View
In the detail view additional measurement parameter plots are displayed (e.g. body weight, accelleration, position). In addition prominent time points (e.g. start of movement, take-off, landing) adn additional analysis parameters are displayed.
This view can be combined with the L/R view - this allows either to display the forces of the reft and right leg seperately or the sum of both.
List View
The list view shows all analysis parameters of the selected measurement which are stored in the database. It also displays a short explanation for each analysis parameter, the current analysis result and in addition the patient dataset.
Trend View (MTrend)
This trend view (MTrend, measurement trend) shows for repeated movements (e.g. hopping, repeated jumps, chair rise test, squats) the progress of the most relevant parameters (e.g. peak force, peak power, duration) per repetition over time of the measurement.
Individual Repetition
The view of the individual repetitions shows detailed plots per repetition. In addition to the standard plots (e.g. force, position, velocity, power over time) position plots can be displayed showing force-position or force-velocity plots. These views allow for example the detailed analysis of the stretch-shortening cycle.
Extended Trend Analysis Window
This function is only availlable in the RES version of Leonardo Mechanography.
In the trend analysis window any analysis parameter stored in the database can be ploted over time for a selected set of measurements. Groups can be defined and individual developments can be compared to the group development.
CoF Window
The CoF window (Center of Force also known as CoP, Center of Pressure) shows the variation of the position of the force entering the platform over time of the measurement. This type of analysis is typically used for balance tests (Stabilometry, Posturometry). However Leonardo Mechanography allows this type of analysis for all included measurement types.
Assessments
Depending on the software version different assessments are availlable.
Basic Assessment (BAss)
Availlable in BAS & RES version.
The Basic Assessment window gives a quick overview over the most relevant analysis parameters of the standard tests (s2LJ, m1LH, CRT, BT, RT) per patient and measurement day. This allows a fast overview over the most relevant results of the different test types and the current neuro-muscular situation of the patient.
Jumping Assessment (JAss)
Only availlable for RES version.
The Jumping Assessments analyses all CMJ, SJ.90, CMJ.1L, DJ20, DJ 40, DJ 60 test of one individual on one test day. The analysis results are according to the msucle function analysis of the Swiss Olympic Performance Manual.
