Exercise of the week (W37) Calf training with both legs (ex 4) Variation: Calf training with knee bends (ex 1)



  • Strengthen muscles of the calves
  • Improve co-ordination
  • Improve ability to balance

Posture/foot position

  • Basic position
  • Upper part of the body vertical

Movement execution

  • Raise heels as much as possible
  • Hold end position for 20 seconds 
  • Slowly return heels to starting position 
  • Enhance the exercise: without holding

Frequency, position and duration

Where does it vibrate?

  • Calves
  • Back 
  • Slightly in the thighs

Common errors

  • Knees go away to the inside
  • Ankles buckle


  • Bend the knees (ex 1)
  • With dumbbell
