Galileo® Therapy in neuronal diseases

Galileo Therapy can be successfully used in treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, Incomplete Paraplegia (Spinal Cord Injury, SCI), muscle Dystrophy, stroke patients and chronic pain like Fibromyalgia.

Depending on the indication therapeutic results can be achieved using different frequencies. Different frequency ranges can improve balance, coordination, muscle function, muscle power or can be used to reduce spacticity (spasticity management) or contractures. In particular, the wobble function of the latest generation of Galileo devices has been specifically designed for this indication.

Why Galileo®?

Reproducible and safe

The sinusoidal, repetitive movement of Galileo, can results in motor and neuronal learning effects. The side alternating vibration simulates a physiologically meaningful movement pattern similar to human gait. This physiological movement pattern can enable effective therapy of the trunk stabilizing muscles.

Reflectory therapy with advantages

Galileo generates a mechanical stimulus and triggers reflex reactions of the stimulated muscles. Galileo Therapy is, therefore, involuntarily activating muscles. A Galileo Therapy can therefore be sued to quickly and effectively improve existing residual functions and specific movement patterns.
